Tucker and Friends Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that focuses on providing assistance to stray, abandoned and surrendered animals searching for forever homes.

At the beginning of July 2017, we started Tucker and Friends with the goal of helping animals in Northeast Ohio. Part of our strategy involves building a sustainable network of pet care professionals and volunteers. We already have quite a few success stories and hope to share many more in the future. Check out our gallery to see some of Tucker and Friends’ furry fosters!

While this is work that we have been passionately doing for a long time, we recognized there was a huge benefit to scaling our efforts through a non-profit solution. We are determined to provide the best care possible for all animals before they go to their new homes.  This means that all adoptable animals get a physical exam by a licensed veterinarian, spay/neutered (if necessary), vaccinated (e.g. rabies), tested (e.g. FeLV/FIV, parasites, etc.), and any other necessary medical treatment (e.g. flea prevention, dewormer, etc.). At Tucker and Friends, we are committed to finding the best possible match for our fosters. We truly work hard to identify families that share our philosophies around onychectomies (e.g. declawing) and keeping animals safe and warm indoors. Please consider donating to Tucker and Friends Rescue today!
